Experimented last week printing onto wood - love the process and enjoying developing the mould prints I created for DarkRooms. The deadline for Leth looms and I have unfinished work, this almost seems fitting for an event entitled 'Limbo'. Is it right to put work out that's in development stages? I have several printed tablets to choose from all have differing qualities. Printing on to wood is something I will be developing next in the studio. It takes me back to my  love of photography (what initially hooked me into the arts) the dark room process of waiting to see the ghostly image emerge in the liquid tray. With this process I'm rinsing the wood under the running tap, it's hit and miss what, from the original image, appears. I'm enjoying the unpredictable nature of it.

Playing with my mud, twig figures, ladders, burning and scorching. This brief to create, work onto a 'tablet' is meant to be representative of the style of how we work - my wrapped creatures want to play a part in that. Not sure how it's working for me through?

Working on board for upcoming Leth - considering the title Limbo. After the DarkRooms event it's kind of where I am right now with developing work - in between places and not at any arrival point. Am working on a few boards - to see what feels right.
