Dirty Plastic
Experiments in Studio 9 - Porthmeor Studios - St Ives

During a creative workshop I delivered for young people at a nearby gallery I noticed the imminent disposal of plastic sheeting used to cover the workshop space. I gathered the discarded material and brought it back to my studio. Working with dirt collected from various locations in St Ives painted on the plastic, I spent time experimenting to attempt to elevate both dirt and plastic, presenting them in a new, sculptural light.
